Remove jog while keeping relations?

We have a sheet metal part that in our Solidworks design has a jog on the bottom for the two pieces to fit together.  However, we've decided it's unnecessary and I've been asked to remove it.  It looks like the original designer put the jog directly into the base design of the part, and any way I try to remove it or replace with a different-radius curve to make up for the loss of the jog, everything goes crazy.  Is there an easy way to replace this, or am I just going to have to rebuild the part from scratch?
