The SW BOM does allow you to add columns and you can do a
varietyof mathmatical functions to these columns - one of which is
tomultiply one column (or property) by another.
The other option is to select your BOM and save it as a CSV
file -you can then open this with excel and do whatever sorts
&functions you require.
I do know that it's possible adding equations in SW BOM's, my
question is: Is it practical ?
I would like to have a list that show to each pipe diameter the
total length.
I can do it in BOM after sorting it, but then when I edit the route
and change some lengths and positions, many of the BOM rows change,
baloon numbers also change etc. and I have to recrate the sorting
and summing again.
