Hi guys,

I have problem importing AD groups in EPDM.

I got the below error:

Description:
Could not read more data from 192.168.105.56:3030. The socket was closed gracefully on the other end.

Date: 2014-04-30 10:11:20
Module: ConisioAdmin.exe
Function: CFVLogin::GetGroups<-LoginConnection::mpcGetGroups<-LoginConnection::mvRecvEncrypted<-CryptSocket::mvRead<-CWinSocket::mvRead
Error code: E_FVC_SOCKET_CLOSED

Error code general description:
The socket was closed gracefully on the other end.

The IP address is the archive server.

I have added the below for the Archive Server Configuration setup.

Tools -> Default Settings -> Login Tab

Default Login Type = Windows Login with Automatic Login Checked

          Settings

               Administrators (BUILTIN\Administrators)

               Domain Admins (Domain\Domain Admins)

               Domain Users (Domain\Domain Users)

               Power Users (BUILTIN\Power Users)

               Users (BUILTIN\Users)

Tools -> Default Settings -> Security Tab

     Administrative Access

          Administrators (BUILTIN\Administrators)

          Domain Admins (Domain\Domain Admins)

          Domain Users (Domain\Domain Users)

          Power Users (BUILTIN\Power Users)

          Users (BUILTIN\Users)

     Attach Access

          Administrators (BUILTIN\Administrators)

          Domain Admins (Domain\Domain Users)

          Domain Users (Domain\Domain Users)

          Power Users (BUILTIN\Power Users)

          Users (BUILTIN\Users)

I am able to ping to the AD server from the archive server and I have also setup inbound and outbound rule for port 3030 and 1433 for both AD and archive server.

I have also setup the trust between the AD and archive server as stated in S-051553.

What could be the problem? Any advise?

Thanks in advance.

James
