Hello I cannot get SW 2014 SP 2 to upgrade to SP3?
I get a 'UpdateBrowserData' Error after I run the installation manager?
I tried turing off my antivirus.
I am running win7 SP1
Any help would be great. I couldn't find anything online.

If you're running Kaspersky Anti-Virus, take a look at Knowledge base article: S-065816
Basically, an update on April 9 to Kaspersky creates a system.mdb file with 0 bytes in the Windows directory. This screws up toolbox and the holewizard-probably because they use an Access database also called System.mdb.
If you delete the mdb file from the Windows diretory (you have to search for it), SolidWorks runs normally.

We're running McAfee, so probably not the solution. Thank you though!

I don't know if you've gotten a resolution to this problem. This error is pointing to the SolidWorks ToolBox folder.
I had a previous version of SolidWorks installed, and this error is saying ( not very well ) that the toolbox contained in the C:\SolidWorks Data folder is the older version and needs to be updated.
You can rename the current C:\SolidWorks Data folder and create another. If you need to run two versions of SolidWorks, edit the install options to point to a different toolbox folder (i.e. C:\SolidWorks Data 2014).

I renamed the toolbox file itself and it has fixed the problem. I had previously had two versions of SW and it appears that some files were still lying around on my C:\ drive.

We have our Toolbox in a shared location, so what I finally did to get it to work was this...
1.) Copy the Toolbox folder over to the local C: drive.
2.) Open SolidWorks and point Toolbox to this new location. Close SW.
3.) Run the SW update install (it should work just fine now)
4.) Open SolidWorks and repoint back to the shared location.
TIP: If you have several machines to update, save out the entry in the Windows registry, where the Toolbox (SolidWorks Data) path is stored, to a REG file. Copy that REG file so you have 2 versions. Edit each file to have the path to the shared location in one and the path to the local location in the other. Now you can use these REG files as a toggle, instead of having to open SW and do the change manually each time.
