I have been working on an assembly drawing for a university project. Till yesterday hatch lines on a half section view I added displayed properly. However, today whenever I open the model I receive th message shown in pictures below and hatch lines do not appear. Please help me out...As you can see section line intersects the model properly.
Hi Chris, I think there is a workaround if you either recreate the section line or move it slightly, the error should disappear.

There is a chance of improper mating, hence section line may fall on the surface of a component in the assembly, where the section cannot be done. you may have to uplaod the file here.

You are probably right, as the last modification I did was to delete some mates. I have uploaded a .rar archive with all the parts ,the assembly and the drawing. I will look into my mates. Please check them out as well and point out my mistakes.

Thanks Peter. I used your assembly with all the parts completely mated(great work btw gave me a lesson on proper mating) but the problem persisted. I found that the problem was caused by the cropped view. After I removed the crop half section generated properly. Succesfully completed the whole work today. Thanks again..

It should not be, because crop view is taken from cross section view. I hope problem might be with your mating.
