Converting file with different configurations to separate CAD files

“I am trying to convert a single CAD file with different configuration to multiple SolidWorks files with each of them having the configuration from the parent file.

For instance, I have a M6 screw sldprt file with different lengths being different configurations. The configurations are M6x10, m6x12, m6x14, m6x16, m6x18...and so on within the same CAD file.

I am trying to create multiple CAD files from single file such that the new files have only one configuration i.e.  m6x12, another file would have screw length m6x14, another file with m6x16. These would be separate files.

Other experts say that I would have to do this manually but it would take me lots of hours as I have screws from M3 to M16 and each of them have 30 odd configuration. Is there a way to do it by macro or some kind of API?”

The reason for the above issue is e-PDM accepts configurations but our new PLM software does not. So we would have either spent hours on converting each configuration to a new file or have a macro do it?

      Any suggestions?
