I'm trying to make a simple mold by combine/subtracting one part from another. I had it working the other day, but I had to start over again, and now I can't figure out how I got it centered inside the box. Is there something better than the insert feature/ move/copy?
If both parts are created symmetric about the reference planes, those planes can be used for location.

also, you might want to look into trying the cavity command. It is a bit quirky but works quite well if you get the hang of it. Tom

The cavity command sounds interesting, and who doesn't like a quirky command right about time the computer is getting ready to be launched through the window? I think I'll try that sometime, but I just found a point somewhere and did a distance mate by guessing. Not ideal but the job is printed out now.

I thought about that, but I couldn't find any planes for the parts, just the main planes. I'll have to look deeper.
