I'm wondering what is the purpose of RPoint in elbow parts. It is listed as optional point when you check your part with Library Component Wizard. I found in some earlier topics on this forum that it is necessary to have it if you want to drag & drop the part in the route. I do not have RPoints on my elbows, but i am able to drag & drop it. Is this one of those old settings which were required in older versions of SW and is still present, for some reason?
Mladen,
The difference, as far as I know, is that with an Rpoint in an elbow you don't drop the elbow on the end of the sketched route but you drop it so that the end of the sketched route becomes the 'corner' of the elbow. To put it differently, the length of the original leg of piping stays the same with the elbow included instead of it becoming longer with the length of the elbow.
Have a nice one
