what variant of windows 8.1 do you have?
did flow simulation ever work on this system?
what service pack of 2014 are you working on?
when you say you have 2 graphics cards, are you talking about the intel card and a discrete card? what are they?
my suggestion would be a full uninstall/reinstall, logged in as administrator, uac disabled, and all antispyware and antivirus disabled. make sure that the prerecs get installed properly and that your system is completely up to date before installing after fully uninstalling.
- windows 8.1 single language
- flow simulation worked once only.
- Solidworks 2014 SP2
- Intel (R) HD graphics 4000 & AMD Radeon HD 8800M series.
What you mean of uac disabling ?
and there is no way shorter than this way ?
Neither of those graphics cards are supported. So is first try disabling them to see if it helps. But it looks like an install problem.
The fact that it worked once might mean you can try a repair and see if it helps.
Uac is user account control. It can prevent software from installing properly.
Thank you Mr Jared
both disabling cards and repair solutions don't work
and uac disabled already ,
, again every time I press on finish in flow simulation setup , the screen which you sew above appears again and program crashes !
if you haven't tred a repair, i would try that
then reinstall the prerecs
it sounds like you made a change to the system and broke the installation if at some point it worked properly
Re-installing prerecs solved the problem
Thank you so much Mr.Jared
What does "Re-installing prerecs" mean ?
Reinstall the c++ redistributables vb components..,etc
