If I use the deformation of the curve to curve geometry is distorted.
The intersections of the arcs and lines (at the blue dots) weren't quite right. Once corrected, the sweep worked fine.

How long did it take to do the "corrections"?
Only a few seconds (30 ?) once I realised the problem. I just trimmed the vertical lines back a little, extended the arcs, extended the lines and finally trimmed the arcs.
Do you know what caused the problem? I couldn't see anything wrong, but SW obviously could.
I tried several times from scratch (rather than trying to fix) as I wanted a clean, fast solution that did not require editing and would adapt to parametric dimension changes. But no matter how I created the geometry it failed to "see" the path as continuous at that point.
This way I've tried. Maybe you can somehow different?

I know how to create helix. I need spiral.
You forgot to attach your attempt here and made no reference to answering that question.
Can you attach your *.slprt file here. The same one you posted an image of?
Can you explain how your design intent is different than the example I posted?
Without more information I'm not sure how to achieve a solution.
Do you have an actual object you are trying to reproduce?
Can you find a picture of something similar somewhere on the internet and provide the url?
What release of SolidWorks are you using?
2012? 2013? 2014?
Can you attach your initial attempt (*.sldprt) here?
Interesting that Rev1 doesn't sweep.
