I am trying to figure out the best calculation for this problem. I have 15000 ft lb of torque that the piece that is being torqued is shouldering up to another piece. What's the axial force being applied to the shoulder and how does it change to the other pieces below that? Any help will be appreciated. For material will say steel 110 ksi both mating parts. Thread is 5.925-8 modified stub acme.
