E-Drawings, having a problem opening files

When I goto open any solidworks or e-drawings file I get a "Memory read error" and e-drawings closes down. But I am able to open .dwg files without this happening. I have uninstalled and reinstalled, even tried installing to a completely different directory and I still get the same error. Anyone have any ideas on this one?

I finally set up a case with my VAR on this and they resolved the situation with SWX's help. I have an nvidia fx3500 card installed on a new computer. The guys who built the computer must have installed the latest driver. I installed the Solidworks approved driver for the this card and problem solved! I have to admit, I've always been skeptical of the "use the swx approved driver" advice but am now a convert.

Check your graphics card driver.

  That worked great, I never payed attention to Solidworks approved drivers either. Actually after switching, the real view graphics in SW looks alot better too.

    I have three installations of E-drawings. Two work fine andone gets memory errors. See attachment. We all haveapproved SWX graphics drivers. Any other ideas on how to getthis viewer to work?
