I have an extended length U-Bolt part. I have attached a jpeg. It is in my design libraray and will be displayed on the drawing as (1) part number, so it is not an assembly. It has (4) nuts on it to mount it to some angle iron. The dimension between the (2) nuts I have configured and called MNT FLANGE THK for mounting flange thickness. So whatever thickness of angle iron is used I can change this dimension.

What I would like to have is each configuration to also have another configuration (embedded?) or (nested?) controlling a dimension called MNT DIM for mounting dimension, which will be the dimension from the top of the U-Bolt legs to the bottom of the top (2) nuts. This U-Bolt is mounting some sch 40 pipe (red circle) and this dimension will control the spacing between the pipe and the angle iron.

I am fairly new to Solidworks so any help will be greatly appreciated.
