I tried to dimesion an arc length, insted of giving the arc length it showing the included angle,
is there anyway can do it right.
The image here shows the arc length dimensioned. To dimension the total arc length
using the smart dimension tool, you click first on either point, then the other end point, then click on the arc itself, position the dimension where you want it.
Thanks for your replay, yes i am doing the same way you have explained but it giving me tha angle
(see the image) i dont know how to change the setting to get the arc length
I was referring to the .prt model with the last image. I also have attached a .drw of the surface dimensioned in a drawing.
My document settings are ANSI, inch. The dimension is manual. I'm also able to "Insert Model Items" and bring the dimension in that way. Are you able to attach your file using the Advanced Editor at the top right?
I found what went wrong, i wasnt picking the end point of the same arc, there is small line segments
on the cut face of RHS, i should zoom in to find the correct end point of arc. its doing alright now.
thanks for your help and offering to help further,
have a good day
Good to hear, John. Thank you.
