Afternoon all,
"Adding the part to this assembly would create conflict of reference. Cannot add." This is the message I get when trying to add a part that is not alreay in my assembly. I open the part and it opens by itself fine. When in assembly and I do a "insert existing part" I do not get it listed in the parts list of things that are in memory, so I browse. When I find the suspect part during my browse and choose it, then open. I get the above noted error message. I have tried rebooting and nada.
Any clues why or what this message is telling me?
Thanks
Sid
Were any of the features, sketches, or ref geometry in the part created in-context? It sounds like you have an external reference in the part file. If so, try recreating the feature, sketch, whatever without the external reference and then try to insert into your assembly.
