So here is what I am trying to accomplish. Since eDrawings doesn't display the notes that use formating correct any more, I want to store our basic notes in a word document and copy and paste them into the drawings as needed. This will be quicker than retyping them every time. I also need to have some of the part custom properties linked to these notes. Currently I have the notes in a word document as shown below:

NOTES:

1.     BREAK ALL SHARP EDGES .015 TYP, EXCEPT SHAPE EDGE

2.     HEAT TREAT TO $PRPSHEET:”RC”

3.     TOTAL OPEN AREA: $PRPSHEET:”OpenArea”

4.     USE $PRPSHEET:”BlankUsed”

5.     16 FINISH BOTH SIDES

6.     .002 PARALLEL

7.     .490/.510 AFTER H.T.

8.     .250 AFTER H.T.

The problem is that the property links are not working when pasting them into the drawing note. Is there any way to accomplish this? I have tried removing the "" from the property name and I have tried replacing the "" with {} and neither works.

I have tried putting the notes in the design library and the note won't display correct in eDrawings either.

Any help would be great.......
