I'm trying to customized this thread size into Solidworks, the 'thread size' applet goes to only #10-56 and can't seem to find this thread size anywhere; i'm wondering if you guys have anything pertaining to this.
Thanks for the help.
Apparently that is one interpretation which I was unaware of. I found this thread on the subject...
As far as I know there is no 10-65 unified screw thread. My machinery's handbook goes to 10-56 as per the SW toolbox. Could somebody have transposed the numbers? Or possibly my handbook out of date.
my bad Applet goes to #10-56, on drawing---0.190-64 UNS-2B
If I'm recalling correctly, the S means 'special'. So can be any diameter/pitch combination that can be made to UN thread form, regardless of whether or not it is used anywhere else. Very unlikely to be found in a handbook or chart.
How does one create a
threaded hole in the Toolbox? I am still lost as to how to do it.
