Welcome to the forum
It varies from person to person how you take the exams
You can try CSWA to get a hand-on experience and then CSWP
If you are well confident enough, go straight to CSWP
Thanks for that John,
I have had a quick look at a practice exam i found on the internet and it doesnt look to bad.
I think i will look at taking my CSWA first then, and then worry about the CSWP maybe next year as we get a free exam with our work licence every year.
Thanks for your help,
If you check out this link from the Solidworks website it explains all of the certifications and the differences between them.
Good luck in which ever one you end up taking.
I ended up taking the CSWP exam.
Being a CSWE I would tell you to take the CSWA first. It will build you confidence and prepare for the CSWP. And it will show your current employer or future employer your skill set. Good Luck and hopefully you will be added to the ranks as both a CSWA and CSWP.
