Solidworks equivalent of Pro/E or Creo parameter

There is (hopefully) a simple answer to this but I am not having great sucess at finding it.

Coming from Pro/E and I am used to creating user defind variables inside of parts that can be controlled/modified in a Family Table (SW=Design Table) and just want to know how to do the same thing in Solidworks.

I fell like I am getting hung up on terminology in searching for an answer in the forum so if this has been addressed you have my apologies and thanks for pointing the way.
