Welcome to the forum. I'm at home now and don't have SW here, so I can't open your files, but see if this will help: http://www.solidworks-apac.com/2009/12/21/how-to-animate-a-spring/.
Please include the spring file also along with other files.
Please use "advanced editor" in case you want to attach any files in a new reply.Click on reply and then click "use advanced editor".
OR
Edit the original post and attach the files in the same post.

Thanks for the response. I tried the spring with linear and curved path. Please find these files.
I'm afraid that you're using educational version and mine is commercial version. So you might not be able to open them.
I'll try to post a step by step video/tutorial on how to do it.
With the student edition you have the same functionality as a industrial edition, you can import IGES, STEP, SAT, etc. file types and export the same. One of the main differences is when you create a drawing and print that drawing, a "Student Edition" watermark is emblazoned accross the drawing, it doesn't show on the screen in print preview, only when you actually print the drawing.
One other thing that should be mentioned is when a part / assembly / drawing is created with a student edition, SolidWorks internally "brands" the file as a "Educational Version" file. You can open and modify "educational version" files with a industrial seat of SolidWorks, if you were to do so, you will recieve a warning message stating that that file was created with a educational version of software and is for instructional use only. Likewise, if someone were to send you a file that was created in an industrial seat of SolidWorks and you opened it, made a few changes and saved it, that file is now "branded" as a "Educational Version" file. You can open it, look at it and as long as you don't save it, it won't be "branded".

Sorry for the delay, had been busy. Here is the video. basically I've added a 3d sketch but you can create a 2d sketch OR even use the base sketch used for those bosses. Then edited your spring sweep sketch and added a relation.
