Changing over from stand alone to network license

I changed over from a stand alone Professional license to a network license, but cannot get the fuctionallity of the Premium only the Professional. I only changed the serial number and did not re-install. I was told I may need to uninstall the stand alone solidworks and install from the network. Is there anything else I should do to make this an easier transition (file, registration files, etc)?
