    Locate a Trim

    Andi H

Im having trouble now finding where is what. I need to delete the trim for a surface I did and as you see the tree is pretty long. How can I find the trim feature im looking for?

          Andi,

Try rolling back your part by dragging the blue line at the bottom of your tree up the list of features until it's easier to see the feature you're looking for.

          Cheers.

If I do the rollback feature that is a pretty good chance it will cause an error somewhere then i have to go back. I have a lot of trims and lofts and features. but I guess i just have to take it one at a time.

              Andi,

I try to give my features meaningful names as I add them. It gets pretty hard to come up with names that will make sense later when you have a lot of features all related to a single base feature.

You could try looking at the parents of a feature that you think is a child of the trim you are looking for.
