2014 SP2 insufficient memory

Question asked by Harold Brunt on Mar 1, 2014

I have just jumped from 2012 to 2014. The install is the latest SP2. Also installed is OptisWorks Add-In 2014 SP1 which was at 2012 before updating the SW install. I am certain the PC is capable since the files I'm running were all created in SW2012 but something is now amiss. The issue I am having is that the "insufficient memory" error warning is popping up when I try to run a ray trace or simulation on a large assembly. Small simple assemblies that I have tried seem to work OK as far as ray trace although I haven't tried simulations as yet. I'm aware of these threads:

My understanding was that this was fixed at SP1. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.
