Dear Friends

I am trying to understand how to simulate a structure has a combination of beams and solids.

Look at the attached file, it is a truss , all the members are weldment ( beams ) and the splice pad are plates (solid)

I have a difficulty to simulate this problem. Should I apply welding at the connection between the leg and the splice pads or what should I do.

I tried so many things but I got errors.
