Do you mean to place the view into an Excel or Word (if so you can insert this as an OLE object). Or you mean that the view is referring to some Excel/Word document?
Hello Artem Taturevych, thanks for your reply. Yes to place a view in Excel or Word.
Could you explane how to insert an OLE object.
Will this have a live link, If we do changes will the OLE objet update in word or Excel.
Go To Insert->Object->Create From File... in MS Word and MS Excel and browse for a Drawing File. Then you can orient as you want. Yes, the link is alive but you may need to updated these objects once the drawing is changed.
Artem Taturevych Thanks,
Your answer got me up and running.
I save in a drawing file 1 view in the needed orientation and i then insert in let's say Word with the insert-object-create from file and then select the drawing file I want to use and i then select link to file before doing OK. All is linked but not automatic, but it is linked.
So if we do a change in an assembly or part in the given view I will save the change from the view then go to word and right click the view and update the link and it updates.
It's a process but it works.
Thanks a gain!
