Hi all, looking for some help adding weldments into my tool box with a student version of the software.
The student version is no different from the full version.
Hopefully this helps.

I fully get how to model my weldment. My issus is that when I go to apply a tube form to it, I only have the 4 basic profiles in my library. I dont know how to get the download of all the other profiles to be accessible. That's what I am looking for help doing. Any ideas?
Ahh right, I see now. Your looking for the profile shapes. (SW only comes with a small handfull)
I'll have a dig around, but maybe someone else already has them.
I already have them downloaded, that's not the issue, it's how and where to I put them so that I can use them in my design. I dont need to find them to download them.
If you haven't gotten them working yet take a look at my responce in this message:
Once they are on your machine they need to be put into subfolders to get them to show correctly in solidworks.
Once you have unzipped them you need to place them into this directory.
C:\Program Files\SolidWorks Corp\SolidWorks\lang\english\weldment profiles
Hi Kevin, How did you get on?
