Hi Brian -
There are two options here:
1. If you are on 2014 - use the new Cache Options (see image)
2. If you are not on 2014: Get the Local Cache tool from Inflow http://www.inflow-tech.com/resource-center/plm-pdm-custom-applications.php
EPDM Cache Refresh On SolidWorks Launch – Application to automatically cache library components when launching SolidWorks
Thank you Joy! Will this add-in work in 2014? We are running 2013 SP2.0 at the moment but have plans to upgrade in a couple of months. We need the ability to control caching by folder.
Hi Brian - I wouldn't recommend it. I would turn off the Inflow tool and turn on the built in tool in 2014. Joy
