So I have read a number of forum questions regarding "implied symmetry" in prints. I beleive I found the answer in the ASME Y14.5M-1994 standard. It states that one could add two horizontal lines on top and bottom of a centerline, and that would define the part as symmetric. I have attached the picture from the standard. My question is: Does Solidworks have a symmetry centerline option? I could physically draw in the lines but I'm not sure that is the best option. I am currently running Solidworks 2013.
Thanks,
Mike
