I'm thinking is it possible to create animation using configuration tables or equivalent? I have 64 tiles and it would be much easier to control position of each using table containing coordinates in each animation step.
If I'm not clear, please let me know!
to be specific: there are structural wall tiles called Unico. My idea is to create animation of morphing one pattern into another. SW can handle animating objects with only start and end positions given. Therefore I thought that it could be possible to make animation of morphing one motif into the other using configuration tables of assembly. The table would hold positions and orientations for each tile for a few patterns and SW would handle moving objects around.

tables don't connect to motion as far as i know
but i don't think i understand enough to help you with a workaround. could you draw a graphic that shows what position 1 would look like and what position 2 would look like? i can't tell if only the pattern of the tiles will change or if the graphic on the tile will also change.
What kind of animation are you trying to create?
To move something, you need to use a motor.
But you could place things with a table maybe and then turn them on and off?
