When trying to put a custom finish onto a part/surface using appearances my solidworks crashes everytime. I'm trying to import a .p2m file (stainless steel finish), I'm not doing anything different from 2013 - selecting the part then selecting the finish. I can sometimes get the finish to go on the part but as soon as I try and change the mapping of the finish it crashes. When using standard finishes it works fine.

Does anyone know what could be causing this?!
