Is there any way, that we can convert solidworks assembmly files(.sldasm) to Revit file formats(.rfa) ???
Please share if there are any Macros availble. Thanks in advance for your help...
Try saving the Solidworks file as ACIS (*.sat) file then Revit will be able to open it.
Hi Thanks for your answer.
But the problem is the ".sat" files are large in file size to deliver customer. So am looking for any Macro that can convert directly from ".sldasm" to ".rfa".
Have you tried to contact BIMDeX for this requirement. Using their product you can export your SolidWorks to Revit and get a native Revit family/ project file. You can write a mail to firstname.lastname@example.org if you are still facing this problem
I'm gathering by this thread response (Transform SOLIDWORKS' files into AUTODESK ) you work for BIMDEX?
I am using their product for past one year as most of my end customers are in BIM. I came to this forum and see that many are still facing this problem and doesn't know that there is a market solution available . So, I am just letting know everyone who are facing this issue about their product
