Inertial Relief - What is the magnitude of force it applies?

I'm working on a linear static simulation that investigates stresses on a box that is subject to external forces and linear and rotational acceleration. My company runs another program which outputs the values for the external forces and accelerations. We apply these in SW to check stress levels. The forces never perfectly balance so we apply inertial relief to the model. I typically do a hand calc to confirm that the mass and acceleration of the box matches the sum of external forces. As another QA I would like to check the magnitude of the inertial force which SW applies just to make sure it's reasonable. Does anyone know if there is any way of checking this? Below is a screen shot of my setup. Is this a situation where we should be using "soft spring" instead?
