we are facing the issue that our users want to borrow (sorry I don't know the matching english word ) a Solidworks license using the License Manager to be able to use SolidWorks when they are not connected to the company network, but when they want to open the License Manager, it's prompting for admin credentials.
I tried with a local user and gave power user rights to it, but that's not enough.
I asked our support company and they told us more or less "it is like it is, give the user admin rights".
So I am just wondering how other companies are handling that, where IT policies restrict spreading out admin rights.
Is there a work around or something?
