Hi guys,
I am trying to do a simulation, where a steel pipe passes through a rubber cone with a hole in the middle (a little smaller than pipe diameter) deforming it as it passes through. My problem is that I add a force to the end of the steel pipe and expect it to move through the rubber cone, however the pipe keeps going forever and I get the excessive displacement error. Is there any other way I can simulate a situation like this and do not have the excessive deformation error?

this type of analysis seems best fit for nonlinear analysis
displacement is available in both linear static and nonlinear static, it is just a restraint where you define a value (0=restraint, X=displacement)
