Will it Blend?  Advanced Filleting and Blending Strategies in SolidWorks.
Andrew Lowe, Industrial Designer, DiMonte Group Inc.

How many users have applied a fillet at 0.23” instead of the required 0.25” in order to have the feature to complete? The first half of the presentation provides a background on fillets and blends and series of techniques to add troublesome fillets to models. Strategies for fillets at the parting line and manual fillet construction are also discussed. The second half focuses on ways to blend different shapes together. Techniques for creating transitions between differing fillets, forcing fillets to flow into each other, and advanced blending methods are shown.

We will have the usual pizza and soft drinks for refreshments, along with a door prize drawing (if we have prizes to give away).

The meeting should adjourn around 8pm.

No RSVP necessary.
We will base the headcount on the average from previous meetings.

Looking forward to seeing the familiar faces along with any new members.

Solidly Yours,
Denny Bahl
