I have a large text filled general table, the cells are not linked to anything. Is there a way to copy this table and insert it into a new/different drawing?
In the drawing click on the table so that it's highlighted, CTRL-C
Go to the new drawing where you want the table to be, click on the sheet and CTRL-V
It should work.
Else, while the table is highlighted, right mouse button, select save and you'll be able, as Deepak indicated, to save the table as a template.
If it's a General Table with no links to anything then I would think CTRL-C / CTRL-V would do the trick, no?
Like Peter said copy and paste should work. If not then save the table as general table template. Insert in the new drawing and enjoy with completed table
Thanks for all your ideas. I tried CNTL-C/CNTRL-V with no luck. Also looked into creating a template and I'm guess I'm not sure how to do that. BTW...in am running Standard Solidworks 2012 SP5. Thanks
Thanks! Success using CNTRL-C
