in the Costing Database...where did Solidworks get the original data that comes with solidworks?   I have found that almost none of the speeds are really correct....

does anyone out there have a completed template that they'd be willing to share with those of us who don't have the time to create a template.  but i'd like something that i can change machine cost and set up cost and pretty much run with it.

my boss saw the speeds and feed rates and said "this system is junk" and he bases it all off from the costing template.

Solidworks really needs to start paying attention to the startup data that they put out there (ie screw sizes, pull dowels not included).  it makes those who don't know question everything else that the software does, like simulation numbers.
