I need help regarding the DimXpert auto tolerancing.
I have created a part and fully defined all features. I used Dimxpert inorder give Geometric tolerances.
My part was fully defined under Auto tolerancing , but there was no dimension information for hole pattern which I used.
Could any one help me why this is happening ? Attached cad file for reference.
Note: In tolerance method I only want to use Geometric tolerance type and not Plus- minus,

The ability to manually add Basic dimensions needs to be available. It seems the auto-dimension is the only way to get basic dimensions in there? There is no option to change a manually added dimension to basic (in 2013, at least).

Correct. As of SW2014, there is no way to manually create a BASIC dim with DimXpert. You may wish to vote for the Enhancement Request to add this capability.
Brian, you add in basic dimensions by RMB-ing on the FCF in the dimXpert manager and select "Recreate Basic Dimensions"

Good tip, but I thought Brian is also asking for how to create new ones that aren't necessarily apart of the scheme. That's how I took to understand it. However, looking back, I think you answered it.

You are right about not being able to manually add dimensions in DimX. The way we get around it is to set the dimension default under setting to Basic when we create the sketches to make the features. It take more forthought, but really, do you want your feature sketch dimensions contradicting you DimX scheme? Then when you choose to make dimensions for drawing they will show up in the drawing environment with basic boxes around them.
Note: Make sure that before you add GD&T boxes from the DimX into the drawing environment the Basic option is turned off in the document setting otherwise the GD&T boxes don't display properly. They haven't for two versions now however I'm the only one logging it as an issue with my VAR.

Since the holes are controlled by a FCF, their positions are managed by the Pos Tolernace. There is a setting in DimXpert Document Properties that allows you to add BASIC dimensions. When you use auto dimension, this setting must be turned on to add BASIC dims. It's at Tools>Options>Document Properties>DimXpert>Geometric Tolernace>Basic Dimensions.
