Having a doubt realted to motion studies when applied to basic engineering.
In lead screw , Lead disance = Pitch x No: of starts.
When creating solidworks motion using screw mate how one revolution can be acheived for different lead distance .
Pls see the attached animation where i use a typical lead screw. ( used for driving two gears forward and reverse, one at a time.)
I have achieved one revolution with lead distance 50 mm and 25 mm . How this is possible when the pitch is 50mm.
