Hi All, Maybe this is a silly question, but I created a motion study in SolidWorks and cannot delet the movements. It tried everything and when I try to start again, the old movements start all over again. Any help will be appreciated
Welcome to SolidWorks forums Barnes.
If you made any changes to the movement then you need to calculate again otherwise the play button will keep on playing the old one.
If that is not your issue OR the above doesn't resolve your issue then please share the files (if possible) or some pictures/videos to show/explain the issue.
Please use "advanced editor" in case you want to attach any files.Click on reply and then click "use advanced editor".

I dont think you understand. I made an animation, updated etc, then deleted the time bar etc. So I tried all over again to make a different animation, but when I update and press the play, somehow the old animation plays and not the new one I created now. It is like the old details are stuck somewhere that i cannot see it to delete it totally. All help will be appreciated
Did you click on the calculate button first before pressing the play button after you made the changes.
Yes I did that but still the same. I even deleted the time bar, saved the solidworks assembly and exited and came back. The time bar then seems emty. I then tried to make a new anmation, but the previous one still also come in. To make a long story short, how do I delete a complete animation and start all over again. I even tried Control Z undo but does not help
That is something strange. Well for you, you can delete the complete study and create a new one. But I would also suggest you to keep a copy of the files with the issues and send them to your VAR to find if there is a potential bug or something related to your installation only.
Check the attached video showing how to create a new study and delete the old one (if required).
