Hi,
New guy here. I have only the very basics of solidworks simulations and would like to be sure that what I want to do is actually feasible and I don’t waste time trying to do something that will never happened...
I’m trying to find the deflexion at the end of a riffled barrel while and after a shot is fired. Ideally that would mean having a bullet traveling in the barrel pushed by a dynamic pressure.
I say dynamic pressure since the pressure caused by the powder igniting greatly varies depending on time an the volume available since the bullet is moving and the volume increase as time goes by.
That part is well known and would be one of my input, some sort of pressure curve or whatever Solidwork would need to run the analysis.
So please be creative and let me think what you think about it.
Here’s the website of a gentlemen that did exactly what I’m trying to do but with another program...
