Hello everyone,
I'm basically having problems figuring out the 'Y+' coefficient for a non-uniform pressure inside a vessel. The vessel itself is 14 meteres tall with hemispherical ends (2m radius). It is filled with liquid carbon dioxide (density = 1015 kg/m^3) to 11 meteres, the space above is pressurised at 21 bar. How do I determine the 'Y+' coefficient?
Thank you.
where are you stuck? have you calculated what the max and min values are? if you plot those vs height you basically have your equation.
