I'm VERY new to solidworks, and to this forum; I hope I'm in the right place for this.
I'm trying to copy/rotate a set of circles around a specific point. Because of the plane in which I created the circles (On a face of the part I'm working on), I can't seem to copy/rotate them as I'd like. It keeps trying to rotate them around a point on the plane in which they were created. If you look at this pic:
Basically, I'm trying to get those two circles onto the two faces I filled in red, rotating them around the bore in the center. I cut them through the wing on the one face, and since I couldn't figure out how to copy them, I figured I'd just re-draw them on the other faces. However, when I did that, when I went to position them, they didn't move the same way they did on the first face; they moved at a slight angle to 90° and 0° (And in opposing directions on each of the different faces which I found VERY strange).
Any help would be very much appreciated. I'm on my own, and I have NO clue what I'm doing. I know that if I were in AutoCAD, I could just array the holes around the center and be done with it. I just can't figure out how to make that happen here.
