I updated my computer from Windows 8 to Windows 8.1 last night and since then I have been unable to open up Solidworks 2013.  The message that pops up says: "This application failed to start because of its side-by-side configuration is incorrect..."  This seems to have been also a problem in the past when people were upgrading to a new microsoft version, and apparently seems to be linked to some C++/.Net aspect of microsoft (No idea how) and none of the solutions seem to be working...

Has anybody else encountered this and know how to solve this?
