I know you can adjust and switch the orientation of a part in assembly but I dont remember from my SW training. How can I realign the assembly. Everything is aligned based on the selected plate that was the first part
Welcome to the forum. Look at the first part name in the tree (the one you have highlighted). It's fixed in place as opposed to being mated. You can tell because of the (f) in front of the file name. Right-click on it and choose "Float" from the drop-down. Next mate this part to the assembly planes so that it's oriented the way you want. If all the other parts are mated to it then they will move with it.
