PV 360 Error - !frame.lan:NoConnection=BUG!

Question asked by Alan Gaul on Nov 9, 2013

I've been experimenting with network rendering using Solidworks 2014 and the network node software.  The system seems to work (at least initially) but I'm getting an apparent error in the "Status" and "Group" columns.  The message is "!frame.lan:NoConnection=BUG!".  This doesn't seem to prevent the system from working but is certainly a bit confusing.  Resetting the network switch and/or restarting the client on the network node seems to help if network rendering isn't working but the error message is always present.  We are running Windows 7 and using a Netgear ProSafe 8 port gigabit network switch.  Any thoughts?

I'd also like to know if anyone has successfully used the network rendering feature when creating animation video output from a motion study.
