Hello, I need to render a model, but I need no shadows, no colours, nothing at the back. Pure white, asa I need to include the rendered model in a leaflet..
Can you help me ???
Can you attach your part? Use the advanced editor tab on the top right of the reply box and then you will be able to attach files.
Hi Alin !
Thanks, now I get this "transparent" efect, but still I have some grey colour....
Trying to send you my SW file, but I can't !!!! Is it not possible anymore to share files through this forum ?
Don't know much about rendering but couldn't you just open the file up in Photoshop or some other image editing software and just delete the background and re-save?
Save the rendering as PNG. That would give you control over the Alpha channel.
Hi Pedro. I've seen cases like this where photoview produces a background that's not 100% transparent.
For animation sequences I can imagine this is a real pain, but for individual images, I'll just open then in GIMP or PhotoShop and apply a level threshold to make the background completely transparent.
But for the record, I too would be interested in learning how to keep PhotoView from doing this.
If you edit your scene and set the background to color and then select white you can go to the Illumination tab and increase your background brightness to get a true white.
I am pretty sure I heard that one of the export choices in SW2014 is .png which will allow an alpha channel to be specified. This will allow the file to be placed with a transparent background. Not sure if that choice is available for Photoview renders, realview or just screensaves.
