Can somone tell me how to link the part # to the BOM, every time i create a BOM the description links to the BOM but the part #'s read default and then I need to manually link them?

You can add a custom property in your part with part number and add this to your BOM
I have that custom property in the the part file im just trying to figure out why it doesn't transfer into the BOM?
You have to add a column in your BOM table an link to the "Part Number"
You can save the BOM format with a name and call that next time you insert a new table
