Excel and SW2013

Question asked by Michael McKee on Nov 4, 2013

I have noticed something buggy between SW2013 and Excel. I have created design tables in the past and have never run into the problem

of the cells in the desgn table being changed everytime the design table is opened. For example, I have a drop down menu for a specific

field with 4 options (these are A1, B1, B2, and C1). the next cell has a drop down menu with 4 options (these are numbers 0-3). Above the second cell

I have it set to give an error if a wrong combination has been chosen (i.e. A1 can have options 0-3, but B1 and B2 can only have option 1). It works fine for the default

setting (A13), but as soon as you change the first option to B2, and the second option to 1, it shows "Err: 1 only" and it gives the yellow caution diamond for the cell.

If I change the error in the yellow caution diamond to "convert to number", the "Err: 1 only" goes away.

Any suggestions on what might be causing this would be greatky appreciated.
