crash on export - any format

I am working on a part which has some pretty complex geometry. It is a chair that was designed by a supplier and I am just visually modeling it for rendering in scenes in modo and keyshot and cad blocks to put on our website.

When I import it into modo it's fine but when I try to import into keyshot, it never loads. The part file is 75Mb, but I can't think of any way to make it smaller.

Also when I try to save it as another format from solidworks to try to get it into keyshot, solidworks becomes non-responsive. I have tried XT, STEP, IGES, STL... they all make it crash.

I think my issue may be LOFT 5 or FILLET 7, or maybe that I just have too many patterned holes.

I've had our IT guys down here looking at my pc and they can't find anything wrong. Running an i7 3770 @3.5GHz 16GB ram, Win 7 64, Intel Corporation DH77EB motherboard, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 650, SW 2013 SP4.

Maybe I need to approach this from a different angle. I'm at a bit of a loss, so if anyone can suggest anything I'd really appreciate it.
